Hello, and happy Sunday! Hope you’re all having fab weekends. I’m spending the day preparing for my next Huntress tour, which kicks off tomorrow…eek! As you can see, my nails have been properly ‘Huntressed’ in honour of the occasion. I also got Huntress-themed nail art for the launch of SEA – it’s such a fun way to celebrate the books and play around with the amazing cover art.
So the tour will be focusing on school visits (which I love!) but I also have two signings at bookshops I wanted to tell you about, just in case you were able to pop in – I’m always excited to meet readers!
From 3 – 5 pm tomorrow, Monday 16th October, I’ll be signing books and meeting readers at Waterstones Durham and from 11am on Sunday 4th November I will be at Waterstones Berkhamstead, for another meet and greet if you’re based further south!
In other news, I just found out that SEA has been long-listed for the fabulous Bookfest Shrewsbury Big Book Award 2018. Something I really love about this award is that the books are read and shortlisted by children themselves. I am beyond delighted that my book baby has been selected for the longlist.
Also, calling young Sussex writers! I have been asked to judge this awesome creative writing competition for young writers aged 11-13. If you’re based in or near Brighton & Hove and love to write, why not give this a go? I would love to read your stories.
That’s all for now, but stay tuned to my Twitter and Instagram for some more exciting news that I will be able to reveal in the next few days…I am VERY excited to be able to share!
Stay heart-strong!
