Recently, I signed up to volunteer as a Story Mentor with the fabulous children’s creative writing and mentoring charity Little Green Pig. I heard about them after hopping along to author Nikki Sheehan’s book launch for Swan Boy and learning that Nikki has also worked with the charity. LGP was founded in 2008, inspired by the 826 model for children’s writing centres in the USA.
